2007 – 2006 – 2005 YOB Male & Female   AA & AAA
May 21 – June 19
2 programming groups based on age & skill level

This program provides the opportunity for accomplished players to begin their off-season training through two distinct training components:

Power Skating and Edge Control:  8.25 hours on ice
Developing good skating mechanics and strong edge control is a fundamental step in any player’s development and is crucial to develop an elite hockey player.  Skating mechanics and edge control require repetitive training.  Player’s skating techniques will be assessed and dedicated drills will be given to address weaknesses.

Skills and Tactical Development:  8.25 hours on ice
Sessions are designed to enhance a player’s power on ice, physically and tactically with an up-tempo progression of advanced skill and tactical development to increase a player’s tactical understanding.  Will include:  Over-speed training, assertive 1-on-1 puck skills, individual tactics, defensive and offensive, integrated team play tactics, European flow drills, attack-support-recover principles, contact confidence, read & react skills, individual and team play tactics.
