Spring 2022 – Checking & Small Area Games 2009s, 2010s

Players need to work on checking through learning to take away time and space quickly through their skating and stick position. This program is a great opportunity to have players be exposed to what is happening in games and learn to use body position to help take space away. The combination of checking skills and game play will allow for skills to be utilized right away. Through constant reinforcement from the coaches, players can learn and work on specific checking areas of their game.
